Angel, a person with muscular atrophy, relies on a wheelchair for daily mobility. When wearing a dress, the hem often gets caught in the wheelchair wheels, and as the wheels turn, the hem is pulled back, causing the neckline to tighten around the neck, which is dangerous. We tailored a custom dress with a high-low hem design, longer in the front and shorter in the back, to prevent the dress from getting caught in the wheels or tightening around the neck.
